I was never big on superheroes and comic book figures when I was growing up... No wait, do He-Man and She-Ra count as superheroes? Things that make you go "Hmmmm...."

Anyhooo, back to the topic at hand: summer movies! *applause* I haven't been to see anything since Jumping the Broom but I've heard nothing but good reviews about X-Men: First Class, so that is next up on my list! It's rated PG-13, so aside from the mutant-kick-butt fight scenes and stuff that goes *boom*, I'm still within my [general] viewing entertainment guidelines.

For some strange reason, I'm not all hyped up about it [yet]... Since I saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it basically spoiled me for any X-Men flicks--past or present. That movie made me a firm believer that Hugh Jackman IS Wolverine... end. of. discussion! Haven't seen it yet? This is the money shot right here:
