Hey, hey, heeeey--it's Fridaaaay! And I'm extra chipper because it's a local holiday for the Carnival children's parade. I'm not going but I'm just happy to not have to be at work.
It's been a disappointing week for me... I was really expecting to finally have my car fixed after months of down-time. But yet another FAIL--plus, I'm out $400 with nothing to show for it! Honestly, I'm just about ready to give up on this car; but it's paid-for and I can't afford another one. *sigh* So I'd appreciate your prayers that God will provide in His usual supernatural fashion.
In an effort to focus on the positive--that I have access to another car in the meantime--I've been telling myself that I need to continue praising and thanking God for everything else that's good in my life. Most likely, that's how I was led to this week's chune. I don't think it's new, but I'm just behind on standard Gospel music. #dontjudgeme This is another one of those few-and-far-between joints that grabs my ears instantly. It's really mellow--the vocals are smooth, jazzy, and oh-so soothing. I can definitely see myself having this on instant replay as I'm laid out on the ground and just drifting into God's presence. The worshiper in me is about to have a revival with this chune--hopefully it does the same for you!
You were right on when you described this one as smooth and jazzy. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI sent up a prayer for you and your car. Take care.
